First Day/Opportunity to visit school

Student schedules will be available to all families in the parent portal after 3:30PM on Monday, August 9. Please click here to create an account or login. Student grades and attendance data throughout the year will be visible to parents in the portal, In addition to viewing schedules in the parent portal, schedules will also be emailed to parents a few days prior to the school year starting.

At the start of the day, 6th graders will report to their home base, 7th graders will report to their Period 1 Exploratory Class, and 8th graders will report to their Block A class (Math or LA). Here is a general bell schedule for your viewing.

School begins @ 8:00 AM. Please do not drop off students prior to 7:45 AM, as there is no supervision prior to that time.

Please note that on the first day of school all staff will review student schedules after arriving to their first class.

Bus routes and times will be sent to families on Friday, August 13.

In addition, students and families are invited to come to Holmes Middle School on Monday, August 16th to get acquainted with the building and locate lockers. Please note, only 7th and 8th grade students will be using lockers this year. Classrooms will be locked and teachers will not be in the building during this time.

If you’d like to come to the building, please come during these designated times:

Students with last names A-K @ 3:30 PM-4:30 PM
Students with last names L-Z @ 4:30-5:30 PM
We are asking families to come only during their designated time slots to maximize social distancing.

This is a fully masked event for all participants.

Physicals and Dental Forms

If you have dental forms or physicals that need to be submitted, please feel free to send them to us in US mail, drop them off in person at the front office between 8:00-3:00 or email them to our school nurse: [email protected]
