Liz Richards named Holmes Assistant Principal

At the June 15, 2017, Board of Education meeting, the Board approved the hire of Liz Richards as the new assistant principal at Holmes Middle School, effective July 1.

Richards is currently serving in Cicero School District 99, where she has served as an assistant principal for four years. Prior to working as an assistant principal, she served as dean of students and a middle school reading/language arts teacher, also in Cicero.

Richards earned a Masters in School Leadership from Roosevelt University, a Masters in Reading from Concordia University, and a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Northeastern Illinois University. Liz’s educational journey began locally; she attended Holmes Middle School as a student.
